The illusion behind a Screen

For this DeepScreen concept, I wanted to make a perfume bottle appear as if it were floating in a space behind the display.
Rather than having the bottle simply come out of the screen, the idea was to create the impression that the display opens into a deeper three dimensional space.
From most angles, the scene looks distorted. From the intended viewing position, the different elements line up and the screen starts to feel more like a window into the space behind it.
3D scene → perspective → distortion → final illusion
This is a concept exploring anamorphic 3D for digital out of home advertising.
